Spanish to English Marketing Advertising / Public Relations e-commerce
I need to translate this phrase into English:

"Una iniciativa de marketing de performance conformada por vitrinas inteligentes de e-commerce"

The client told me that 'vitrinas inteligentes de e-commerce' are like banners that appear in websites that lead you to different online shops. They are like display windows of physical stores but online. I can't find a term for that. Does anybody know what to call them?

You have another identical entry? Okay, so the other Kudoz entry by "Lucía," and I'm assuming that's the same Asker? Is a little different. I believe your client may be mistaken that "vitrinas inteligentes" refers to banner pop-up ads. I say this because for your other entry I was able to find lots of references to "smart showcases" in English, and it is a way for a store to give automatic and personalized recommendations, but it's not the same as a banner pop-up ad. The words "banner" and "pop-up" have been adopted as-is (borrowed the English terms) in Spanish, so "vitrina inteligente" would likely not be used for that. This is my two cents.

@ Lucia I have just found 'smart display' referring to adverts that incorporated into the website. https://metrictheory.com/blog/google-smart-display-ads-how-t... I haven't got time to do more research but looks like this might be relevant.

I am not sure that it is necessary to put 'e-commerce' in but I do think you need to translate 'inteligente'.

I have also found 'vitrinas inteligente' and 'escaparate inteligente' translated as 'smart showcase' but I am not convinced by the translation.

What is and what makes a smart recommendation showcase?

Smart showcases replace traditional physical showcases that catch the attention of passersby. They are called like that, because they act like a online seller able to recommend products intelligently within the shop.

neutral philgoddard : I agree about 'e-commerce' and 'inteligente', but do we know these are popups as opposed to some other form of banner? And if they are popups, isn't 'vitrinas inteligentes' a euphemism? If so, I think you should try to use one in the translation too.
