Most likely a typo of some sort I suspect this is some sort of typo. We already see how sloppily the text was authored with the extra "derzeit", and who knows what else they messed up. "Unterstand" itself really only seems to be a sort of building structure. The only thing I can imagine is that they *might* mean "unterstand" as a verb, i.e. "was subject(ed) to" or similar ("unterstand" being the past participle of "unterstehen" (im Sinne von "unterliegen")). Or alternatively, maybe it's some sort of dictation gone wrong and they mean "gemäß unserem Stand" and the mistake wasn't picked up because "Unterstand" does exist as a word.

The only meaning I can find is "shelter". It could be a typo, as Adrian seems to be implying.

@ asker: Unterbestand, AT or LI Pls let us have the country of origin. In Austria for example, ein *Unterbestandverhältnis* for an Untermietverhältnis as a sub-letting - strictly an 'underlease' vs. Vermietungsstand as the head lease - is generally not understood and is mis-spelt, even by non-dyslexic legal secretaries. 'Ist ein Unterbestandverhältnis laut dem ABGB erlaubt? Grundsätzlich ja, wenn nicht. ohne Nachteile des Eigentümers; und im Vertrag nicht ausdrücklich untersagt.'
