This is from the same copy-editing job my previous entries. I'm working on an academic paper on "silence in film". I'm checking a translation for "entre plano y plano" as in the ST below. The author's English version renders it as "between plane and plane". My initial instinct was to just use "between shots", but I know "planes" could be specific in context. Trouble is, Googling "planes in cinema" has a tendency to bring up articles on the flying variety, so my capacity to research in greater depth is proving limited. Help from those of you in the know would be very much appreciated. Sorry about the ...s to avoid making the text too identifiable as it will be printed in due course. Hope it's comprehensible enough as the phrase in question is in the latter part of the 2nd sentence.

"Es evidente que hoy reconocemos como la voz y las palabras escuchadas adquieren un nuevo talante e impulso estético en el cine documental, en su uso axial en el film-ensayo.
