Estoy traduciendo un manual de insturcciones del automóviles (sistema híbrido del motor) y no logro encontrar un equivalente del término: non-boosting

Este es el segmento:
During turbocharger non-boosting, the fuel vapors absorbed by the canister are drawn to the intake port through the purge port installed downstream from the throttle valve.

Mi intento: Durante la falta de impulso del turbocompresor, los vapores de combustible que absorbe el recipiente, se transmiten al conducto de admisión a través de la lumbrera de purga instalada en posición descendente a la válvula de mariposa.
