: "Como... consecuencia de" means "as a consequence [or result] of" not "important to" which is what you have perhaps inadvertantly suggested here, unless you have mistaken "consequential" for "subsequential"?

It also seems that one of the suggestions above may have mistakenly used "consequential to" (significant to) instead of "subsequential [sic] to" (after).
("Subsequential" here would in fact be an incorrect form of "subsequent"—a backformation of "subsequentially".)
