Be careful when using "consequential" because it is the equivalent of "resulting". So, if you say "consequential to" or "consequential upon", those prepositions give the impression that the word "consequential" is being used in its other sense, i.e., "important" or "significant", and that's clearly not what is meant by "como consecuencia de".
