Spanish term

Rendición de bunker

Spanish to English Tech/Engineering Transport / Transportation / Shipping Bunkering
Dear colleagues,

This term appears in the subject of an email as follows: Rendición de bunker BTs SAN SAN H - MALVA H - Temporada 2016/2017

I know that SAN SAN H and MALVA H are vessels, but I'm not sure what the correct translation is for 'Rendición de bunker' nor 'BTs'.

Could 'BTs' refer to buffer tanks?

Thanks for your help everyone. I'm going with 'bunker accounts' as it's all about figures throughout the text, so it seems like the best fit on this occasion.

BT stands for Buque Tanque

Thanks.

The email:
Buenas tardes Juan,
Adjunto la nota de crédito solicitada.
Saludos,
Another email:
Juan buenos días, los balances de bunker son correctos ahora le solicitamos a Lucila para que emita las notas.
Saludos,

What does the email say? You can obviously anonymize it.

Bunkering means supplying fuel to ships for their own use. Both vessels you mention are oil tankers, so BTs could be bunkering tankers. That should really be a separate question.

Bunker(ing) Accounts (or Balances)

Perhaps the original is a shortened form of "Rendición de cuentas de bunker"

Actually I like Phil's suggestion of output. Rendición always makes me think of accounting, but it makes sense that rendición could be used in the same way as rendimiento (for output/yield/etc.).

Bunker output

See the discussion box. I believe "output" is the most likely meaning, ie the amount of fuel dispensed.
