el valor de densidad óptica (DO) se corrige respecto a un blanco, que sería una disolución que no contiene el analito. El motivo de esta corrección es descartar la contribución que hace la solución misma en la que se encuentra el analito, al valor de la densidad óptica. El objetivo es conocer la DO del analito SIN (de alguna manera) la solución.
