osnovni kapital

Croatian to English Other Business/Commerce (general)
is it the same thing as "share capital"?

Understanding Equity Capital
Equity capital or financing is money raised by a business in exchange for a share of ownership in the company. Ownership is represented by owning shares of stock outright or having the right to convert other financial instruments into stock of that private company. Two key sources of equity capital for new and emerging businesses are angel investors and venture capital firms

founding capital

It may depend on the type of company you are talking about. I have most commonly come across the term 'founding capital' when talking about the sum of money that must be invested in order to found a
d.o.o. (limited liability) company, in Serbia for example. (a legal minimum of $5000, by the way - I know, I am in the process of doing so!)
