@Asker This term belongs to the Soviet era apartment blocks, so translation with the Russian transliteration would be better, I believe. Besides, entrance is a general term for any driveways, doorways or any other entries. The Soviet term "podezd" is an entrance with entrance stairwell. The point is that the reader would not clearly understand it if we just give its translation.
