I am struggling with this phrase that is taken from the Echoardiogram and Doppler colour (additional info / suspected diagnosis) of a medical report as follows:

@José. Tu sugerencia de EIT como Electric Impedance Tomgraphy no es aplicable a la pregunta. Como bien cita tu artículo de referencia, la tomografía de impedancia eléctrica es, valga la redundancia, un método tomográfico que se utiliza durante un procedimiento de ablación por radiofrecuencia de la FA, y el informe médico ni siquiera menciona que se estuviera solicitando o programando una ablación. El informe médico, por el contrario, hace referencia a un paciente séptico complicado con una FA, una situación que haría muy poco probable proponer un método invasivo para el tratamiento de la arritmia en semejante contexto clínico. Es más, en una nueva pregunta referida específicamente al acrónimo EIT nos enteramos de que el cuadro se resolvió con tratamiento médico...

But obviously "atrial fibrillation in the context of primary healthcare" does not make any sense. "PNA" must refer to a disease/condition because it relates to the AF.

@Neil Ashby Aprecio su comentario y comparto su punto de vista. Sin embargo, supongo que no visitó el enlace que compartí sobre el primer nivel de atención. Le dejo un enlace más donde puede apreciar la aplicación común del término en español. No es ningún término sacado de la manga. Cabe hacer esta aclaración aunque en una pregunta posterior quien hace la pregunta especifica que se trata de pielonefritis aguda. Yo no busco puntos ni reconocimiento. Lo único que me motiva en este ejercicio es un genuino interés en ayudar u orientar a los compañeros. Si analiza de nuevo mi respuesta con todos los valores de referencia, encontrará que tiene sentido al ser información mutuamente complementaria. Saludos.

Medical translations are extremely important, peoples' lives may depend on them. So answers to medical questions should not be taken lightly in a quest for points or recognition, or whatever.

disagree Neil Ashby : It's great that you are confident in your suggestion, but Phil's correct, you haven't provided any evidence of "PNA" equalling "primary nivel de atención (medica)"; this acronym simply does not exist. And no need for insults. I blame Trump!
