Spanish term

dos decimales sobre el total

Spanish to English Bus/Financial Other
From a financial report (Spain)...

La participación de la Dª XXXXX no llega a alcanzar el porcentaje de derechos de voto de dos decimales sobre el total.

I don't see how this makes sense in Spanish if we are to understand "decimales" as "decimal places", as per usual.

The only way I can make make sense is like this:

"XXXXX’s shareholding does not reach the threshold of 2% of total voting rights".

Have I strayed too far? Am I missing something?

agree philgoddard : William: This can be expressed much more succinctly in English. "Is below the 20% voting threshold".
