I'm working on a text where a child says he loves his mother incredibly so. But I'd just like some more context about how this phrase is used, please.

أحبك حبا جما، وآكل التراب الذي تمشي عليه أكلاً لمًا.

So literally: I'd eat the ground that you walk on like unleavened bread?
