Japanese term

(鼻咽頭) 外/(鼻咽頭) 判/(鼻咽頭) 定

Japanese to English Medical Medical (general)
This is related to a question I posted on 11/11, to which Patrick Hideo Kirby was kind enough to respond. Since posting, the client has provided me with the original source text, so would like to re-post with what I hope is a clearer explanation.

The above terms describe some tests administered to a hospital patient. They appear in table format, along with other tests, in a column with a heading of 検査名. They would thus seem to represent separate tests.

Here is roughly what the layout looks like:
検査名
.
.
CoV2Ag (鼻咽頭) 外
CoV2Ag (鼻咽頭)判
CoV2Ag (鼻咽頭) 定
.
.

My question is what do 外, 判 and 定 represent? I failed to note 外 in my initial question, but Kirby suggested that perhaps 判 and 定 should be read together as “determination.” While this sounds reasonable, that still leave 外 unsettled. Could this mean something like “off-site” or “at another facility”? Something like “Nasopharyngeal swab determination done at another facility”?

All suggestions sincerely appreciated.

Best,
Steve

can you share the original? In tables, sometimes the vertical and the horizontal writings mix in order to save some space. There should be some other letter/s above 外 (ex, 体外、除外)OR it could be an abbreviation of something in which case it should be explained what it represents at the bottom of the page (or somewhere else). These are just some speculations that I can think of. It would be much better if I could see the original table.
