IMO the meaning is "pull their socks up", "get their act together", "regroup"

and "will have to" is more forceful than "will be looking to" - if that's what "doivent" means.

Despite peer agreement, I think comeback is wrong here.

After their defeat at the hands of England, the French XIII/XV (selon le context - sans doute à treize cette année!!) will be loocking to bounce back against Wales on Saturday afternoon...

agree Timothy Barton : Attention! C'est l'équipe U19. En plus, au treize, normalement c'est GB qui joue. Enfin, moi j'éviterais les chiffres romains, trop méconnues par les anglophones.

agree JabTrad : "looking to bounce back" is ideal, but this definitely refers to rugby union (6 Nations youth competition), therefore it would be the French XV. Roman numerals are used in British rugby circles.
