It looks like "aflastning" misspelled. If I gather correctly, it's an incision inside the cheek, that is 'relieved' (finished) by 5+ towards the fissure. "Sulcus" is Latin for "furrow"

this is an extra incision placed to relieve stress on the tissue and prevent tearing. "Aflastinin" is indeed a typo, should have read "aflastning"
