In answer to David, I saw this more as a historical journey. Maybe 'Hall of fame' ??? That would cover Helen's concern, I think.

: I think "pantheon" is perfect - possibly the word I was looking for when I said "panoply" - but olympiad is a bit OTT.

: I don't know. Voie royale sounds more like a journey to me, a career path. I wouldn't be surprised that the previous text mentions schools and work experience.
