: pleural cupula also exists, but apical pleura is more common, IMO

| Yes, I noted that. The fact that the term, however, is acceptable in an English language medical text is significant. I believe I will use 'apices', since that is what I presume the reporter means. The Latin term, culmen also has the meaning of apex, when referring to the lungs, from what I read in my research. |
