CRB nervai

Lithuanian to English Medical Medical (general)
Niekur nerandu nei lietuviškai, nei angliškai. Pažįstamas gydytojas terapeutas irgi nežino.

very unusual but everything is possible, said the pharmacist...
Ramunas Kontrimas (asker) Jul 25, 2016:
Pakonsultavo neuropatologas - pasirodo, tai CeReBraliniai nervai, o paprasčiau - galviniai nervai (cranial).
Erzsébet Czopyk Jul 24, 2016:
@Asker could you please to give some more information about what are you translating? How old is your patient? What is the diagnose? What treatment the patient received? Anything in addition could be helpful.
Erzsébet Czopyk Jul 24, 2016:
I searched a lot you could give an incredible help if you could type the full text here with specific Lithuanian characters.

P. S. Apart from my answer below, I also checked another different version:

CRB = “C reaktyviojo baltymo (CRB) kiekis” = “C- reactive protein (CSF-CRP)”, which is closely related to neurological examination, however in such case the term “CRB nervai” makes no sense! “Corticobulbar nerves” at least makes anatomical sense.

Kadangi kalba apie skausmą kakle, arti būtų Cervical Radiculopathy, bet tada gaunasi CRP, ne CRB

Cranial branch nerves

Pvz.: The cranial branch, the profound petrosal .... VN = vagus nerve, HN = hypogossal nerve, CrB = cranial branch

Kadangi toliau kalbama apie kaklinę stuburo dalį, atrodytų visai logiška, kad apibūdinti "cranial nerves" arba "cranial branch nerves"
Example sentence:

.... from a stroke or trauma can mimic damage to one or more branches of a cranial nerve.

corticobulbar nerves

“CBN (cerebrobulbariniai nervai) > Corticobulbar nerves (or Cerebral bulbar nerves)”
http://www.proz.com/?sp=gloss/term&id=25496686

“The corticobulbar (or corticonuclear) tract is a two neuron white matter motor pathway connecting the cerebral cortex to the brainstem primarily involved in carrying the motor function of the non-oculomotor cranial nerves. The corticobulbar tract is one of the pyramidal tracts, the other being the corticospinal tract.”

Example sentence:

An intact left dorsal corticobulbar tract seems crucial to the normal execution of speech long term after acquired injury. http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/23390172

C reaktyviojo baltymo (CRB)/ diverticulitis symptoms: neck pain and elevated CRP, C-reactive protein

Leukocitozę, kuriai būdingas formulės nuokrypis į kairę, ir reliatyvią limfopeniją sukelia dauguma bakterinių infekcijų. Padidėja C reaktyviojo baltymo (CRB), prokalcitonino, citokinų kiekis kraujyje, taip pat eritrocitų nusėdimo greitis (ENG). Leukocitų kiekis >25000 būdingas generalizuotam sepsiui, sukeltam pneumokokinės pneumonijos, kepenų absceso arba cholangito, kasos absceso arba infekuotos nekrozės, retroperitoninio tarpo flegmonos.
