senior undergraduate

This is a frequent problem. I believe this concept doesn't exist per se in the British education system (don't know about American). This is a student who has finished attending all his lectures but has NOT graduated yet (i.e. taken all his exams). In the British system, you take exams AS SOON as you have completed lectures, none of this taking 10 years to finish university :)

Therefore I think this online dictionary http://www.eudict.com/?lang=croeng&word=apsolvent is wrong to translate it as "graduate".

ESSE dictionary (Institut for Foreign Languages) says "Senior Undergraduate", which doesn't really offer a direct equivalent (there probably isn't one, needs a footnote or something), but at least gives you a phrase to use.

senior student (or: final year student)

"Senior student" is more common than "final year student", but they can be used interchangeably (see links).

I agree with comments above and must add that it's the same situation in French, by my opinnion.
