Esta corriente está dada por el valor, eficaz (rmc) de la corriente que son capaces de conducir las barras colectoras a la frecuencia nominal y sin exceder un incremento de temperatura de 65º C, sobre una temperatura ambiente de 40º C, considerando que las uniones son con superficies plateadas o uniones equivalentes.
La corriente nominal de las derivaciones a los interruptores, debe ser igual que la corriente nominal del interruptor asociado a la derivación.
