Spanish term

sino ya sabe

Spanish to English Other Marketing market survey response
Porque si promete algo, digo yo que tendrá la decencia de hacerlo sino ya sabe a que se atienen. Pero en general por lo que tengo entendido te ofrecen una buena atención

Could this be a typo for "si no"?

otherwise you know

Because if she promises something, I mean, she should at least have the decency to come through, otherwise... you know... she'll have to face the consequences...

This is informal, very typical way of speaking, at least in South America.
Note from asker:
That's exactly as I translated it. Because if they promise something, they have to do it otherwise, you know, they'll have to face the consequences.
Peer comment(s):

neutral Judith Armele : Perhaps otherwise is too formal for the context. The 'digo yo' makes it informal.

agree neilmac : And I can't envisage a situation where "otherwise" would ever be judged too formal.
