This is the description of a photography lab in Spain:
Un prestigioso laboratorio fotográfico especializado en procesos digitales, fotoacabados y montajes finales.
There's no more about this company after that, it's just a short little blurb...I'm not sure what "montajes finales" would be in the context of still photography. Final editing maybe?? Or could it have to do with mounting?? Montages??

2.En el cine, ordenación del material ya filmado para constituir la versión definitiva de una película.
3. En el teatro, ajuste y coordinación de todos los elementos de la representación, sometiéndolos al plan artístico del director del espectáculo.
Thus, it seems that "montaje" refers to a final "assembled" product, implying more than one element ergo something more like a portfolio or presentation of a photographer's work.
