Being of Belgian-Dutch descent, I have been raised in a fully bi-lingual fashion (Dutch/Flemish and French). After high school in Belgium, I got my degree at Erasmus University in Rotterdam. Since 1985, I reside in the UK, and my English is to native standard. I work as a freelance translator and interpreter for companies such as Labrador (Paris, France), Solten (Worldwide), Sol Marzellier Traductores (Spain), RixTrans Ltd (Latvia) and others, in the language pairs mentioned. I have been an assessor of new interpreters for LanguageLine, and I am an examiner for EdExel oral high school examinations. I am security vetted and hold a CRB certificate. I am also an English<>Dutch/Flemish interpreter for the local Courts.
