Thank you for visiting my profile page. My name is Margo; I am often described as a positive, capable, and reliable individual. I am a native Polish and American-English speaker. I am also comfortable with Russian and French. I love skiing in the winter and having anything to do with water in the summer. My hobbies include reading, blogging, writing, jogging, and playing the guitar.

Professionally, I’ve earned a bachelor’s degree in marketing and management at the State University of New York, and master’s degree in International Business at New York University. I also completed one semester study abroad at the University of London during my undergraduate study. Currently, I am nearing the completion of a Ph.D. program in international relations and political economy at the University of Warsaw. I am in the process of writing a dissertation that requires conducting extensive research on social, political and economic development of Poland and other countries in Eastern and Central Europe during the years of 1989-2004. In 2014, I received a postgraduate diploma in linguistic studies at the University of Warsaw.

I’ve been providing linguistic services since 2009. My expertise comes from years of administrative and consulting work in finance, marketing, industrial development, technology, and manufacturing at globally recognizable corporations.

Why do I do translation or interpreting? I love languages and take great pride in focusing on language precision and effective communication. I think that English is a great joy in life because it allows people to communicate on a broad scale and look for common ground despite differences.
