Bio
My translation practice is centered around the unique intercrossing of languages that come together in Catalunya, a small corner of southwestern Europe. As well as extending into both France and Spain, Catalunya is visited by many thousands of people each year. My translation services aim to contribute to this exchange by bringing English-language materials to Catalunya, and Catalan materials to the world.

Background
I am a polyglot and experienced language professional dedicated to intercultural communication. I am passionate about language, communication, and the written word, and have lived and worked in Spain, France, Japan, and the United States. I hold a BA in Comparative Literature (Spanish and French) and French from UC Berkeley, where I also cut my teeth on linguistics and Russian. I spent one year studying French, Russian, and philosophy at the University of Paris (III), and after graduation earned a MA in Gender studies at the University of Barcelona (taught in Spanish and Catalan). I am currently completing a PhD in Comparative Literature at Rutgers University. Contact
