I lived in Beijing China for 8 years, where
I attended a Chinese school. I am now fluent in Mandarin and can also read and
write the language. This experience has taught me to have a deeper appreciation
of other cultures and languages. I did my grade 5 and 6 at a boarding school
which taught me valuable discipline.

In 2016
I was also employed as an interpreter by Tata Africa Steel Processors for 45
days, working on erecting a steel coil slitting machine mediating between an
electrical engineer; a commissioner who is an electrical engineer and
programmer; and the project manager on site and various contractors.

In 2017 I worked for Aldor Africa as an interpreter working on installing a new packaging machine for the confection factory,  facilitating between an electrical engineer; a commissioner who is an electrical engineer and programmer.

In 2018
I was also employed as an interpreter by Central Rand Gold for 3 months,
working on erecting a concentrator gold processing plant between an electrical engineer;
a commissioner who is an electrical engineer and programmer; and the project
manager on site and various contractors. I stopped working there only because
my interpreting was not longer needed and the company is on the verge of
liquidation, partly also because I wanted to study towards a B.Com degree in
business management, which I'm in my second year currently.

In 2020 I worked briefly as a customer
support chat agent for Dufry - an airport duty free store global chain before
the coronavirus pandemic affected air travelling.
