Abstract
Background: Studies have shown that olfactory receptor genes are the largest in the human genome, which are significantly expressed in olfactory and non-olfactory tissues such as the reproductive systems where they perform many important biological functions. Main body: There is growing evidence that bioactive metabolites from the ovary, follicular fluid, and other parts of the female reproductive tract signal the sperm through a series of signal transduction cascades that regulate sperm migration, maturation, and fertilization processes. Several studies have highlighted the role of G-protein-coupled receptors in these cellular processes. Thus, we aimed to summarize the existing evidence describing the physiological role of most prominent exogenous and endogenous biomolecules found in the female reproductive organ in enhancing the chemotaxis behavior of spermatozoa during migration, maturation, and fertilization and also to elucidate the pathological implications of its dysfunctions and the clinical significance in human fertility.
Short conclusion: In the future, drugs and molecules can be designed to activate these receptors on sperm to facilitate fertility among infertile couples and use as contraceptives.

فازت رواية كل الضوء الذي لا نراه للكاتب أنتوني دوير بجائزة بوليتزر للأدب لعام 2015 وميدالية أندرو كارنيغي للتميز في الرواية لعام 2015 ،وكانت في المركز الثاني لجائزة دايتون للسالم الأدبي لعام 2015 للرواية، وفازت بجائزة الكتاب الروائي لجمعية مكتبة أوهايو لعام 2015 ،وهي واحد من الكتب الأكثر مبيعا في »نيويورك تايمز«، وتتحدث عن فتاة فرنسية عمياء وصبي ألماني تتداخل مساراتهما في فرنسا المحتلة، بينما يحاول كالهما النجاة من الدمار الذي خلفته الحرب العالمية الثانية، تحكي الرواية قصة ماري لوري التي تعيش في باريس بالقرب من متحف التاريخ الطبيعي حيث يعمل والدها. عندما كانت في الثانية عشرة من عمرها، احتل النازيون باريس وف َّر الأب وابنته إلى قلعة سان مالو المسورة، حيث يعيش عم ماري لوري المنعزل في منزل شاهق على البحر. ويحملان معهما ما يمكن أن يكون أكثر الجواهر قيمة وخطورة في المتحف. في بلدة تعدين في ألمانيا، نشأ فيرنر بفينيغ، وهو يتيم، مع أخته الصغرى، ا مفتونً بمذياع بدائي يجدانه ويجلب لهما الأخبار والقصص من أماكن لم يرياها أو يتخيلاها من قبل. يصبح فيرنر خبيًرا في بناء وإصلاح هذه الأدوات الجديدة الحاسمة ويتم تجنيده لاستخدام موهبته لتعقب المقاومة.
الحكاية/ماذا يقول الكتاب؟

Translation - English Abstract:
All the light we cannot see by the author Anthony Dweer won the 2015 Pulitzer prize for literature and the 2015 Andrew Carnegie medal for Excellence in fiction. It also came in second position for Dayton prize for literary peace. Along to that , it won the 2015 Ohio Library Association fiction book prize. « All the light we cannot see » is one of the best sellers in « New York Times ».
The novel talks about a blind french girl and a german boy that happen to lock paths in France during its occupation, as each one of them was trying to survive the destruction caused by World War II.
The novel tells us about Marie Laure who lives in Paris next to the natural history museum where her father works. At the age of twelve, the Nazi occupied Paris so they run away to the walled Saint Malo castle, where Marie laure’s lonely uncle lives in a high house by the sea.
They carry what might be the most valuable and dangerous jewels in the museum. In a mining town in Germany, grows Werner Pfeing, an orphan, with his younger sister, astonished by a primitive radio that they find as it brings them the news and stories from places that they have never seen nor imagined before. Wener becomes an expert in building and fixing those crucial and new tools and joins the military to use his talent and track down the resistance.
The storyline/ what does the book say ?
The events of the novel start in 1934, as a 6 year old blind girl named Marie Laure leblanc lives in Paris with her father Daniel leblanc, who is the master locksmith of the natural history museum that Marie is keen to visit often. She felt passionate toward its contents and she became attached to slugs and snail shells, and was persistent to ask about different types of fossils. Her father made a precise miniature model of the neighbourhood so it helps her visualise her surroundings and to move around it after she lost her sight. He gifted her books, and made sure to fill her curiosity and passion for science and reading, he even brought her books written in Braille.
Daniel leblanc was proud of her deep down, and felt happy that despite that his daughter was blind, she was curious and resilient . He felt that being a father to a very strong person was a mere narrow canal to a greater thing. This is how he feels now, as he is thinking while he was kneeling next to her brushing her hair, that his love for her would almost exceed his physical limit. The world might fall, even the whole city and the obviousness of this feeling will not evanesce. But often, he felt anxious that he may not be good enough for her as a father, as if he is doing everything wrong, or maybe he didn’t understand the rules well, just like all those parisian mothers that seemed as if each one of them had some secret knowledge about her that he didn’t.
On the other side, in a wrecked orphanage in Zollwerein, Germany, lives 8 year old Werner Pfeing with his sister Jutta after he lost his parents. He worked in mining. Mrs.Elena was responsible for the orphanage, but despite her being a caring lady, the orphanage did not provide them with a good life. Jutta was a smart girl, her brain was older than her age, she dreamt of Paris and wished to visit it. Their lives changed when Werner’s talent in electronics came to surface, which he discovered when he found a broken radio with his sister. He fixed it and used it to listen to scientific programs and music that is broadcasted in Europe, it was like a condolences and a muse to both him and his sister and to the rest of the children that stayed in the orphanage. He was keen to listen to scientific programs made for kids, which helped Werner enrich his knowledge and push him more towards his passion for science in general. He learned that electricity can hold a sens of stability on its own. But when it is conjoined to the magnetic waves, there can suddenly be a movement – waves. The fields, circuits, conduction and induction. The place, time and mass. The air swarms and a lot of what is unseen ! How he wished to have eyes that can see the ultraviolet rays, eyes to see the infrared rays, and eyes to see the waves of the radio that are crowding the dark sky and flashing through the walls of the house. He was known in the neighbourhood for fixing electronics, everyone askes for his help, and when he fixed the mine supervisor’ s radio, he gets complimented and prompt him to be sent to a Nazi school. His sister warns him about joining the school and about how savage the Nazis are, but he believed at first that he is serving his country, espacially when everyone in the neighbourhood treated him like a hero. Werner is disturbed by the harshness of the teachers when he joins school, especially with the weak students or those who could not catch up with the training, his friend Frederick is one of them, whom he knew lately and whom he seemed not able to adapt to the military school environment. He is a dreamy person, lover to the birds and the sky, but his weakness exposed him to many insults and harsh treatment from students and teachers, although Werner did not stand to these laters, he had his own way supporting his friend, by befriending him, getting close to him and trying to fix his things.
Werner was chosen by the science teacher dr. Hauptmann to assign him a project that involves talkie walkies, as he succeeds in completing the project, he receives a visit invitation to his Friend Frederick’s house in Berlin. Werner gets astonished by Frederick’s family’s wealth and their huge house where they live. He is confused by the maltreatment that Frederick receives although his family is of a high status . Werner then gets shocked when his friend Frederick gets harshly beaten by the other students which caused him a brain damage and gets discharged.
Due to the German invasion in France, Marie fled with her father from Paris, but before they flee, her father was assigned to treasure a precious jewel called the sea flame, to prevent it from falling in the hands of the Nazis. Marie mentions the story of this jewel and the story told by the museum guide that she heard during her visits there with her friends. The story tells the events of past centuries, in Boreno, a Prince picked a blue stone from a dry riverbed because he thought it was beautiful. But on his way to the palace, he was attacked by men on horseback and get stabbed at heart level. The guide added that « the robbers took his rings, his horse, everything, but the bluestone remained fixed in its place, they didn’t notice it. The dying prince lost his consciousness crawling his way back home. He remained unconscious for ten days and on the tenth day, his nurses were shocked by seeing him sitting with the stone in his opened hand.
