Consider myself a "natural translator/interpreter". I know it's a gift one is born with, or it is one of the multiple intelligences, but I feel I have a special talent for this type of work. (Not wanting to blow my own trumpet!).
In my various professional activities over the years, I have always had to use my translation and interpreting skills.
Am an avid reader, possess more than average general knowledge and culture, which help as a translator/interpreter.
I love the challenge of translation/interpreting and feel extremely satisfied and accomplished when I complete a piece of work.
Have a Bachelor of Arts degree in Translation (English, French, Spanish) and a Masters in the Teaching of English as a Foreign/Second Language (M.A. TESL/EFL).
Am a certified Court Interpreter for the Santo Domingo district, Dominican Republic.
