I have always been keenly interested in languages as a tool for connecting people and establish mutual understanding, not just in a purely technical sense, but also as a means for encouragement, kindness and tolerance. My goal through my career has consistently been to convey meanings with the same appeal to to the target language reader as to the reader of the text in the source language. Therefore, I have always painstakingly attempted to convey the writer's intention and the flavour of his creative work. I therefore carefully analyze who is the target group, and what the message is intended to achieve. I have found special pleasure in travels to other countries and get well acquainted with local history and geography. Besides, I try to insert a positive, forthcoming tone in my communication, verbal as well as textual. I maintain certain standards as to dignity and decency, while I also believe that everyone is entitled to speak up for his or her own conviction. I hope to further international contact and friendly relationships through my work.
