I studied Economics at the top-ranking Private University of Bolivia and English at the prestigious Centro Boliviano Americano. I was married to a US citizen with a BA in English Literature who introduced me to the translation and interpretation business in 2006. We had a translation company based in Cochabamba, Bolivia, translating a wide range of documents both for abroad and domestic affairs. Then we move it to the USA. I have also worked locally as an interpreter at international trials and meetings of large international organizations.
I work with all Microsoft Office suite, All adobe suite (Indesign, photoshop, flash, etc), I work with Old versions files and AutoCAD.
I use the following CAT tools: SDL TRADOS, MemoQ and Transit.
I also have worked as a computer programmer developing localized software, games and websites (html, php), which gives me an advantage working with software translations.
