Hemingway's won't do individual bills Jan 10, 2012

So I'd say that's off the table for anyone that wants to deduct business expenses.

I have two more venues to check and will send out messages to everybody who's signed up by late tonight!

The Bishop and the Belcher, 175 Bloor E, Friday 6:30 p.m. on Jan 11, 2012

And that's the final word.
Hemingway applies 17% "mandatory gratuities" to groups AND refuses to bill individually (=major pain), so I crossed that off the list.
Since there seems to be a strong sentiment that keeping the tab down is important, I looked around for pubs (i.e. slightly less expensive than Peridot) that aren't too rowdy, and the best option seems to be the Bishop and the Belcher. It's a block east of the Peridot, but still easy walking distance from Yonge/Bloor station. Entrance is from Church street.
The vegan selection isn't vast, but there are two dishes that would fit that need. The rest of the menu is standard pub fare.

And whoever has a better suggestion is more than welcome to organize the next powwow

Thank to all those attending, and a special thank you to Larissa for taking pictures Jan 15, 2012

the report is now up- as well as some of the pictures.
We were actually 11, not 10, but I don't think Lionel is registered on proz.com so i couldn't enter him.
