During those studies at the technical university of Braunschweig, Germany, I did work as a freelancer for a loca...l steel company developing something similar to DTP and CAT. In this process I became so fluent in technology that I was hired full time by National Semiconductor as an application engineer for their graphic processor. This marked the beginning of many years in this semiconductor arena, later moving into the telecommunication arena, where I had a senior position as Business Development Director at Lucent Technologies. Since 2001 I have been reactivating my function as a translator applying with joy the CAT tools like those from SDL and others that so nicely have implemented what I had envisioned in those early 1980 days. Today I see my service as a translator as an industrial process, driven by a well defined and continuously refined work-flow. I am confident that this perspective on the task of a translator allows to continuously improve efficiency and raising income to a attractive level. The latest step in this process is to establish offices, not just in Germany, but also in Colombia, ta harvest both the Spanish and the German target languages, while benefiting from the attractive situation of living in two different cultures, climate zones and styles of living.More Less |

Since 1984, I am a translator specialized in business issues and technical documents which have allowed me to obtain a valuable experience. Since 1994 I have also worked in the dubbing and subtitling area.
I have more than 25 years working with different personalities of the aviation, media, telecommunication and business environment.
The linguistic diversity along with my life experience in Russia, Italy, France and Peru enable me to understand the culture and society in order to communicate as effective as possible. Besides I manage different translation technological means necessary to obtain an optimum result.
