I will keep it, but confidential with an active NDA Jan 1, 2022

Some clients request samples for past projects. I prefer taking tests and building trust hand in hand, step by step to supplying finished projects.

Never heard it. What does it mean?

said to advise someone not to waste anything, because they might need it in the future

I said this 365 days ago, but happy New Year to everyone

Tom was no doubt referring to the typo in the poster's incorrect rendering of the saying. I'm sure he knows it means: if you use something sparingly now, you will be less likely, in (the) future, to find yourself in need of it but not having it available. Typo aside, it's a bit of a stretch here though - sending it to the "waste" bin isn't really the kind of overconsumption the original saying is trying to warn against.

Destroy the material Jan 6, 2022

Once I worked on a multi-year project for a law firm. They told me to purchase a shredder and shred all of the original documents after translating them. This was a cash-cow, career-making project for me so I was only too happy to comply.

I have only heard it once. Apparently, it is the proofread version of the original.
