Several translation contests have closed without winners. As a colleague wrote: "A contest without a winner isn't fun".
No idea whether this has improved during the last years, though!

Trying to submit my translation EN-PT(Br), but all language pairs are marked as paused.
Is this temporary? If so, when is expected that new submissions be possible?

We actually encourage members to submit potential source texts in their native languages that meet the criteria displayed on the site. Somemtimes it's hard to get permission from the authors though.
You're more than welcome to suggest any piece you might think suitable by clicking on the provided button.
