Hello everyone

I find Google's N-gram viewer, with its graphs that show word prevalence per year, very useful. Is there something similar (offline) that I can use for my own corpus of words, if I can tell the program which files belong to which year? Preferably freeware...

Thanks
Samuel

Possibly a combination of tools Mar 3, 2015

There are several open-source N-Gram tools available. There's the python NLTK or Ngram Statistics Package in Perl, for example. Maybe you could pipe the output into an open-source chart program of some sort to get a graphical representation.
