В наших реалиях эта должность называется "детский специалист"

A child life specialist is a professional traditionally employed in the hospital setting. She or he supports the psychosocial development of children who are hospitalized or children of adult patients who are hospitalized. Child life specialists provide children with developmentally appropriate activities that help them adjust to the hospital environment, prepare for a medical intervention or medical procedure, or cope with hospitalization, illness, death and dying. A certified CLS must pass a national certification exam, given by the Child Life Council.

Child life specialists work with patients and families in many areas of hospitals such as the Emergency Department, patient rooms, surgical areas, the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, and the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit. In each of these areas, child life interventions focus on the individual needs of the patient and family.

Certified Child Life Specialists (CCLS) have earned a Bachelor's or Master's degree, with an educational background that includes human growth and development, education, psychology, and counseling.

Социальный педагог - специалист, организующий воспитательную работу с детьми, молодежью и взрослыми людьми в различных социокультурных средах (семья, учебное заведение, дошкольное учреждение, детский дом, приют, трудовой коллектив, учреждение дополнительного образования и др.)
По профилю деятельности социального педагога различают следующие специализации:

социальный педагог по работе с семьей;
социальный педагог - руководитель детских объединений и организаций;
социальный педагог - организатор культурно-досуговой деятельности и др.
В настоящее время различают только одну специализацию «социальный педагог по работе с семьей».

Нашлось еще несколько ссылок по "специалист по проблемам детства", но без четкого определения, что это такое

Поэтому в нашем педагогическом отряде работает психолог высшей категории, опытный специалист по проблемам детства.
