It's actually a 'k' in romaji, followed by 'ta' in hiragana, and an exclamation mark. Like this:

I think the expression on the screen should have been "kita! (=来た）". I am sure that "K ta" doesn't make sense in Japanese. Possibly it was mistyped. I usually say "kita!", when my phone starts ringing, especially after waiting it for a long time.
My best guess in English is "Here it comes!". I'd like someone to tell me more suitable ones, if any.

I have another idea. As you may know, there are a sort of "Otaku (=nerd)" expressions (sorry I'm saying this way), in particular shown on the Internet. One of the most popular expressions is "キター!!(kita----!!)", showing that he is really excited. I don't know if it should be written as "K ta!", but I think it is likely.
Actually, this expression has become very popular, and you can find it even in ads on trains.

1.If that is his(or his friends') name, [Keita!]＝(Kた), it would be a name for boys in Japanese.
2. If he seems like he is getting into trouble, that would be [Komatta!] which means [oh my g. (what am I gonna do?)].

I don't think it's a typo. It appears twice. First on screen, as in cartoons, and then he type it on his computer (screen).
