Wegehaftpflichtversicherung

German to English Law/Patents Insurance
In AUT gibt es eine gesetzliche Wegehalterhaftung für Wanderwege, Reitwege, Langlaufloipen und Radwanderwege.

Beispiel: Der Weginhaber ist zur Instandhaltung und Instandsetzung des freigebenen Weges verpflichtet. Die Stadtgemeinde hat eine Wegehaftpflichtversicherung und eine Betriebshaftpflichtversicherung abzuschließen. Die Stadtgemeinde übernimmt die Wegehalterhaftung im Sinne des § 1319a ABGB. Der Weginhaber haftet nur für Schäden, die von ihm vorsätzlich oder grob fahrlässig verursacht werden.

@ Simon: I was joking! IMO my translation is the only plausible translation, but I agree that it is strange that London has no risk code to cover it. Maybe London doesn't list absolutely everything!! Grüße!

risk codes contain almost all standardised as well as less common forms of insurance and thus their English equivalents!

@Mary - sorry, you must have misinterpreted my comments. I am not sure how my comments suggest I was comparing London landscape to the Alps! The London insurance market is the largest in Europe and writes every conceivable type of insurance and thus its

I have gone through the risk codes used in the London insurance market and there is nothing remotely resembling this category of risk. Mary's answer would seem reasonable as this sounds like a bespoke or niche area of insurance.

Don't know about the breadcrumbs, but I'm pretty sure it doesn't cover ants, wasps, lightning bolts mad cows/bulls or amorous Hüttenwirte!
