daily violent headaches in the occipital and frontal regions

"cephalea" is the technical term; for the general audience, "violent headaches" will do. Anything having to do with the brain as the stem "ceph" such encephalitis, electroencephalogram (EEG). "Occipital" is the back region of the brain, whereas "frontal" the front region of the brain.
