Dutch term

voedingscode

Dutch to English Bus/Financial Finance (general)
Dear all,

As a favour for a friend, I am translating some bank account information. There are a few unfamiliar terms on it. The top of the form says "Raadplegen Fiatgegevens", furthermore it has some basic information about the account and then the terms "Voedingscode" (which is 0) and "Voedingsbedrag" which is clearly different from the "Boeksaldo". Does anyone have any suggestions for "Voedingscode"?

Discussion

Titia Dijkstra (asker) Jun 27, 2008:
It is a personal account. It is not any kind of payment order but an extract from the bank records about this person (stating name, type of account, current balance, whether or not their account is blocked, all in very short statements and abbreviations).
Mark Shimmin Jun 27, 2008:
Titia could you give any background details without revealing personal details? For example is this a company account or a personal account.
Might be that this is a form of payment made into to the account, ie it "feeds" the account from another account

replenishment code

Ik vermoed, dat dit iets te maken kan hebben met het aanzuiveren van een zeker tekort.

Overigens wordt deze term, getuige Google, voornamelijk gebezigd voor voedingsconsumptiezaken.
