Spanish to English Bus/Financial Economics regional fiscal flows
Stuck on the best way to express this sentence. Not very happy with my attempts so far, which sound a bit 'awkward'.

En España existe un importante tradición en la realización de investigaciones dirigidas al cálculo de federal fiscal balances (véase Barberán, 2006). Investigaciones que **cuentan, además, con una excepcional repercusión pública de sus resultados. **

Just to clarify things, I think this 'impact' is negative. Apologies for not providing the rest of the paragraph which might make things cleareë:
"Ambos fenómenos –tradición y repercusión- se explican por el debate social existente sobre los efectos redistributivos interregionales de the fiscal activity of the central government. Debate que viene originado, a su vez, por la insatisfacción de algunos gobiernos regionales y partidos políticos sobre las relaciones fiscales de su región con el gobierno central. "
