| This is not it, I'm afraid. Requisition is "Materialanforderung", also called "Bestellung auf Abruf". I don't think they mean a specific department, but rather any department or branch that happens to have purchasing demands. I thought "Area of Demand" could come close, but it sounds awkward. Thanks anyway! |
| You're confused? Wait till you see the rest of the doc. I'm confused! But seriously: from where I used to work I know requisition to mean that a plant could order from a supplier (on demand) what had been purchased by Purchasing on the basis of a master agreement. But, as you point out, it can also refer to ordering goods or services from another department or even via another department. So it would have to be "The department that issues the requisition", only shorter. |
