Italian term
operatore esterno
Italian to English
Bus/Financial
Other
job title
This seems to be a specific job title judging by the amount of job adverts on Google, but I am struggling to find a definition. The sentence it appears in follows: "Successivamente [he performed] varie mansioni di operatore esterno con un periodo in cui ha lavorato al travaso dei carri ed al riempimento delle cisterne.

: I agree with "contract worker"; the term does not seem to refer to the nature of the appointment (temporary/permanent).

Comment: "I've chosen contract worker as it seems the most appropriate - many thanks!"

off-site employee/workman
is this related to the construction industry? in this case it sounds like someone that rather than working on the main construction is employed on some off-site tasks
Note from asker:
No it's not contruction as far as I can tell - the jobs performed are those in the original sentence, which seem to take place in some sort of plant. |
