"La influencia de la norma subjetiva o grupo de referencia se pueden definir como lo que los consumidores creen que otras personas pueden pensar de un de-terminado comportamiento. Al medir la influencia del grupo de referencia, Fish-bein & Ajzen (1975) identifican la utilización de dos medidas, (1) la creencia normativa, referida a lo que otras personas quieren que uno haga, y (2), la motivación para cumplir con distintos referentes. Por otra parte Peter & Olson (1999) identifican dos grupos de referencia en la influencia de la norma subjetiva, (1) los normativos, como son los padres y compañeros (Fitzgerarld & Arndt, 2002), y (2) ***los comparativos***, como son los ídolos (Childers & Rao, 1992)."

Rich could be right and these are influences, but I think the peers and family are more likely there as in "normativos" . Here they are talking about idols or icons
