Divorce and custody
The above excerpt appears in a report of divorce proceedings from an arbitration hearing. The following appears in a bulleted list describing how any assets will be split and how custody of a child will be executed:
Prescindem reciprocamente de alimentos por deles não carecerem;
The third person use of the verb refers to the two parties in the divorce case.
I'm not sure what the 'por deles não carecerem'. Would this be to do with ensuring neither of them are 'lacking' i.e. 'out of pocket''? I assume this means that both the mother and father will be paying equally for subsitence (he is paying 150 euros but the amount she is paying is not mentioned.
Many thanks in advance for any ideas.

as neither party is in need of it
The issue is alimony and not child support. Neither party requests alimony (or spousal support), as neither party is in need of it.
