Reduction Zone
Reduction of the metals on the catalyst occurs in the Reduction Zone.
The Reduction Zone is at the top of the Reactor No.1.
Oxidized catalyst enters the top of this zone via the regenerated catalyst ***lift line***.
The catalyst flows downward through two cylindrical beds with a gas disengaging area between them.
