German term

kampagnennah inszenieren

German to English Marketing Advertising / Public Relations
I can't come up with a suitable translation for this - can anyone help out?

In the following:

to stage the xxx models in terms of / in line with the overall campaign

This was my world for many years... in an ad agency.

What I'm pretty sure this refers to is having the film project the same look and feel as the rest of the campaign (reflecting, underscoring)- creating a coherent brand approach, generating synergies with the other media used to promote this car model or line.
I'm going out on a limb and putting in a high confidence level.

Sorry, I forgot to strike the last part of the sentence I originally wrote. So it should end with supporting media.

Yes, showcase works just as well - maybe even better

sorry I didn't see this... showcase is very good, maybe even better
Example sentence:

The film reinforces messaging and images used in the campaign's supporting media, the film enhances the brand.

Note from asker:
I was wondering whether "showcase" would fit the bill too for "inszenieren" - what do you think?

thank you - yes you're right.
agree Ramey Rieger (X) : Yes, I agree with Phil, perfect! Perhaps, 'to corroborate' or even better, 'in accord with'

thanks Ramey.. actually in this context 'in line with' is more 'marketingspeak'

4 KudoZ points awarded for this answer. Comment: "Thanks a lot, I like "in line with ...". Yes, I decided to use "showcase" in the end."

to effectively pose /display (the model) in our campagne film - see below

There are two ways to read this:

overlapping with the campaign message - which my first suggestion implies. I think it works, but am not 100% sure. Therefore, low CL.

OR
close to the time of the campaign
Peer comment(s):

neutral philgoddard : I think your first explanation is exactly right, but the translation doesn't really reflect it.

Too true, Phil. Elli's got it.
neutral Eleanore Strauss : the first one is close, but not specific enough; the rest of the text seems to indicate that timing is not the issue here... sorry

Don't apologize for being right, Dear!
