After all four data acquisition cards begin to acquire data the computer sends a “move” RS-232 command to all four motors that control the horizontal laser carriages. The target position for the move is determined from a parameter that is sent from the computer to the motor when the “Cycle Start” button is pressed on the computer screen.
The computer then waits for all four motors to turn on the bit indicating that they are moving. These signals go from digital outputs on the motor to digital inputs on the PLC. The computer reads the status of these inputs from the PLC.
These are “Output F” from the motors to the PLC. The input numbers are:
1. “A” Bearing Carriage: I5.1
2. “A” Wheel Carriage: I5.4
3. “B” Bearing Carriage: I8.1
4. “B” Wheel Carriage: I9.2

Не вполне понятно, что подразумевается под “Output F” - please advise!

Речь идет о системе идентификации характеристик изготовленных изделий (в данном случае - колесных пар).
Здесь два типа лазерных кареток: каретки лазеров шейки оси и каретки лазеров колеса, по две с каждой стороны колесной пары.
