Unfortunately there is no context or list of duties.

@ Legal Transform - I take motorista to be the helmsman. (ship's driver)

That sounds like a wonderful solution, but then I also have "Motorista F/B" which other Prozians have translated as "Engineer"...
RE: Helmsman - You are a genius. The position TIMONEL is used, which I had translated as Helmsman, but now I see that the same crew members are referred to as "quien ocupa el puesto de Timonel" are listed as being "Motorista F/B" so you are absolutely correct!
