I am translating a market research interviews, and this in particular is about a new brand for breakfast cereal. The texts reads like this: “Crunchy Crunch Breakfast Cereal. Delicious oat clusters with honey, fruit and nuts”. My question is: How would you translate “clusters”, like “granola”, “trozos” or “pedazos”? I was doing some internet search, and see that big cereal brands commercialize “Crunchy honey & nuts clusters” and “Crunchy honey and nuts granola” as different products. However, the packaging pictures don’t help much to see the difference. I infer that there must be a difference between granola and clusters. Any help? Many thanks in advance!

Los "clusters"son simplemente los terrones o racimos que se forman cuando se tuesta la avena con azúcar o miel y frutos secos, arroz, etc.
Pero no he visto que en castellano se use ninguna de esas palabras, de modo que te sugiero usar "crocantes de avena".
Si bien crocante se usa generalmente como adjetivo --aunque también designa a un tipo de turrón-- se utiliza también como sustantivo en algunas recetas. Un ejemplo:

Therer are quite a few references in Spanish in which “clusters” is translated as “racimos” in the context of cereals, although it looks like at least one major brand (Post) leaves the title and descriptive language on the boxes in English (although they of course by law have to add an ingredient label in Spanish).

: Esa es la descripción de los agregados de cereal en varios países. "Crocantes " se refiere a postres hechos con azúcar caramelizada, no a los cereales del desayuno.

"Crunchy Crunch" podría quedarse sin traducir, por su valor onomatopéyico...
Pero mirando esta pregunta, una y otra vez, yo optaría por "copos de avena" o usaría una traducción descriptiva de "barritas de cereal" o algo por el estilo.
Con todos mis respetos a los "racimos", desde el punto de vista de uso (al menos en España estoy bastante seguro), "racimo" no me parece correcto... (ni harto de vino, ni de orujo gallego... ;-)
